Angelo Adamo was born in Adelaide, Australia, and moved to Chicago in 1996 to work as a wellness program administrator for Motorola. He also began a modeling career with Elite Model Management, featuring in editorial work for prominent brands such as Lea Jeans, Jill Sander, and American Crew.
Driven by his passion for fashion, architecture, and design, Angelo earned a degree in Interior Architecture from the Harrington College of Design in Chicago. He then relocated to New York City to start his career with Sandra Nunnerley Inc. and Darren Henault Interiors.
Angelo expanded his experience by collaborating with architectural firms in North Carolina, where he worked as a senior designer on projects including the Wake Forest Sports Performance Center, the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Pike Electric headquarters, Burger Batch restaurants, and the Yen Yoga center at the Delamar Hotel in Michigan.
In 2018, Angelo formed a partnership in Michigan to develop high-end luxury prefab buildings, collaborating with brands such as Duchateau, Waterworks, Salvatori Stone, Miele, and Vibia.
Additionally, he launched ADAMO Style, which focuses on original commissioned art for galleries and trade.
